An O2 sensor, on any auto so equipped, will only cause problems if bad (or the wiring is bad) after warm-up, not before warm-up. Am not certain if you have a cold start injector or auxiliary air valve on your car, but in regards to the O2 sensor, that is not your problem. Of course, you do need to replace the oil sender.

Other possible causes are the ignition system, a loose connection or bad ground, vacuum leak or fuel pressure problem that the functioning O2 sensor compensates for after warm-up, and horror of horrors, a leaking cylinder head gasket. Hope it is not this. What you need to do now is to start eliminating possibilities one by one. Unfortunately, I would start with checking for a bad head gasket.

Good Luck!
