While I don't know what is usual compression, I do know that there shouldn't be more than 10% variance between the cylinders. Usually, low compression means slightly less power, but large variances usually mean that something's wrong that needs to be attended to.

Anyone out there know what the compression should read in kg/cm squared or PSI? What kind of variance is acceptable?
