atmospheric pressure is 14.7 lbs/sq inch so. I believe there are two different compression ratios for the 745 from what I have read. 7.0:1 (older 745s) is 102.9, and 8.0:1 (newer 745) is 117.6...it may be higher a few points depending on any carbon building (which takes up space in the cylinder and thus higher pressure).

On other high output engines I have liked less than +/- 5lbs, but do not know the tolerances here. If more than possible bad valve.
