There's a plastic inspection cover which you can easily pop out. As I recall, push the front edge back to remove and put the front edge in first to re-install. You can rotate the flywheel with a screwdriver by inserting into the ring gear teeth and prying against the casing. Just slowly rotate until you see the piece.
