I just replaced the "microswitch" on the blower control/temperature board. It is this switch which causes the HVAC system to stop working intermittantly the switch tests ok but breaks down under load. I found an almost exact replacement switch at Radio Shack (275-016 or 017) The only difference is that they come with metal levers, which need to be removed I bent mine back and forth until it broke off. I cut off the old switch leads with wire cutters leaving part of the metal standing above the board. Then drill out the old rivets and remove switch. The new switch mounts in the same holes using two 2-56 x 1/2 inch screws/nuts. Position the switch next to the metal of the old switch that were left standing and solder together. Be sure that you orient the new switch the same way. Mine work like new again.
