Daniel, Spend $50.00 and have your radiator rodded out. The previous owner of my 86 735 had also put in a new radiator about a year before I bought the car. I was having the same problems you are now having. After spending large sums of money on everything else I finally removed the radiator took it to a shop. When they opened it up they found parts of old gaskets and silicone sealent that the previous owner had let slip into the system.

Now the car runs about 3/4 of the way over in 98deg.weather while in stop and go traffic and just under 1/2 on the road. Trust me it's worth the money just for the piece of mind.
