Alex,
Is this car a UK model? As far as I know, the 968 ClubSport was a UK only model. I had a 1994 968 (6 speed of course) a few years ago and that thing screamed. Highest I ever had it up to was around 140 coming home from Orlando on the Turnpike and the car still had plenty of juice left. The disadvantage the 968 has is that (at least at the time I owned it) there are next to no modifications easily available for it. You could get damn near anything for the 944 Turbo but next to nothing for the 968. Still, I really regret having sold that car.
Magazines at the time had the 968 doing 0-60 in just under 6 seconds. Not to start a flame war here, but every magazine I've read had the stock (and by stock I mean STOCK, not one single change from the factory) 745i's doing 0-60 in around 7 seconds. I realize that the 745i can be easily modified to exceed those numbers but I'm talking stock vs stock.
