I copied this technical article for you from the www.bmwe30.net website. It was written by a certain gustavo Melo :

Aren't you tired of having to clean your wheels every week - or maybe two times a week - because of the huge amount of brake dust the stock pads generate? (and I have those basket weave type BBS wheels on my car... what a pain to clean!).

Try the Repco deluxe pads. They don't generate [virtually] any dust, and perform better than the stock pads.

If you prefer to stick to the stock pads, try the Zymöl wheel cleaning & protection kit.

The kit contains a wheel cleaner and a bottle of anti-brake dust wheel coat spray, a stuff that prevents brake dust from building up and etching to your wheels.
After applying this, the brake dust came out with plain water... I really recommend this product.

You can find Zymöl at http://www.zymol.com

Gustavo Melo

I hope it helps. It sure did help me with my wheels. Kudos to bmwe30.net for being such a great website and also to the people on this message board who never cease to help others.

Best Regards Always
