The 85 745i on ebay is the one I looked at about a month ago. It has allot more wrong with it than stated on the Ebay sight. For one thing the turbo is dead. This is not just a bad turbo. The entire turbo cool down system is gone not just the timer. Someone has also recalibrated the AFM to prevent it from smoking. The paint on the car is breaking down. This is due to the car being parked under pine trees for about 7 month's although it is now covered. The rear driverside door is leaking into the car when it rains. This has not caused any damage as of yet but it is wetting the inside of the car. All of the window lacing is falling off on all of the windows. Rear seat has a burn next to the arm rest about the size of a silver dollar. No tool kit. No spare. No jack. Gas cap is crushed and not sealing the tank, just setting there loose. Water in the fuel? I could go on and on.

Aparently this car was originally bought on Ebay from a car dealer in Boston. I understand he go it from an estate sale. The person now trying to resell it on Ebay bought the car site unseen and now is stuck with it due to the fact that it is undrivable.

If any one is interested in it I have a complete file of pictures for viewing. I would also anwser any questions as I have driven the car and can tell you first hand anything about it.

The reason I am posting this is after reading the Ebay discription I got mad!!! I can not stand anyone that would deliberately not tell the truth about something they are selling just because they did not do their homework before they bought the first time!!

This is a great prodject car for someone who has allot of time and the knowledge about 745's and a place to work on it over a long period of time But it is not worth $3750.00 today or tomorrow. Maybe worth $1000.00 to $1500.00.

Hey it's just my 2 cents worth to anyone interestied.
