Hello !
I'm the proud owner of a 1983 BMW 735i mod. E-23. The car has the optional 4-speed aut. gearbox. I,m planning to install a "VDO Tempostat" cruise control which I just bought.
The VDO-manual says that I need to the know the "Distance constant" which is found by multiplying the "Impulse/KM" by "Ratio of speedometer". Allso needed is information regarding the pulses generated, namely: "sine-wave"(inductive encoder) or "Square-wave" (Hall-effect senser, reed sensor og blocking oscillator).
Would be very thankfull for any information regarding this issue.

Uffe Nicolaisen from Denmark.
