I HAVE A 1985 745i WHICH I BOUGHT IN FEBRUARY 2001. IT HAD 150,000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER, TODAY IT HAS 160,000 AND THE CAR IS A ROCKET. I USE IT EVERYDAY TO GO TO WORK AND I HAVE 22 MILES OF NON-TROOPER HIGHWAY BETWEEN HOME AND WORK. I HAVE HAD IT UPTO 110 MPH AND THE CAR IS AS SMOOTH AS IF DOING 55. RIGHT NOW I WILL BE NEEDING A TRANS. REBUILD AND PLANNING TO GET NEW RIMS AND TIRES. I BELIEVE AT THE PRICE I PAID, THIS IS THE ULTIMATE EXOTIC CAR FOR THE REGULAR MAN. > Please tell what the car has seen, and what major stuff (rebuilds) that have been done to the car.
