One last word on Sofftener / Color-Plus...

During the several years of working on the leather, I had used various "cleaners" and never got off much if any dirt...

Enter the leather after 6 treatments of sofftener.... After letting the Sofftener sit for 24 hours, I finally followed theri advise and wiped the leather down with a rag and CLEAR water...... no soap.

The water turned BLACK >>>>>>

One other thing about Sofftenr...

It has taken me 8 weeks and 6 applications to partially recover the leather.... Be patient. It is like putting water on a very dry sponge. at first it barely sinks in. the softer it gets, the more it absorbs... The victory comes when you start to see streaks of black appear as the stuff starts to sink in.....

"Nuf for now.... Keep us posted on the process and what you encounter...

Regards

John Stein
