My '86 735i needs a complete brake job. I would like to rebuild the brake cylinders but I can't find rebuild kits anywhere. Any suggestions?

Any caveats?

Also, what brand rotors and pads should I use?

Thanks,

Fife

Fife,

I have been pleased with the PBR's on my 745. $28 per, quiet, good street performance and _minimal_ dust. Much less dust than the OEM.

As to rotors, one man's opinion; I would stay away from any drilled or slotted rotor. I personaly believe that rotor warpage in a street vehicle is due to driving style or over-torque of the wheel bolts. ATE rotors should be sufficient. Again, my opinion.
