Water in Glove box (archive)

Hi I've been having an ongoing problem with water leakage in my car for a while now. I thought I had it sussed, until it poured with rain for 2 days straight. The water comes in somewhere between the GLOVEBOX and the door (right in the corner where you can only get part of a hand up). Also after the heavy rain my glove box was soaking wet, along with everything in it. Also sometimes as I drive off I notice the water trickle down from this area. I’ve removed the cowl and cleared the drains (had the hose on it and water pissed into car, but in different area). I’ve checked the sunroof drainage holes. I've ripped out the insulation and pulled back the carpet, so the floor is impressively covered in newspaper. Anyone have any ideas were this leak could be originating from. Jens mentioned check drains on each fender rear,I’m unsure what this means? Also it shouldn’t be the heater core as has already blown and tubes are blocked up. No a/c in car.
I hoping to put my speakers and insulation back in the car soon, either when I've found and fixed the leak or in summer, whatever comes first. So any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
Mike 1980, 732i.
