Sometimes it is hard to believe.
But your first check on this car, when someting goes wrong is the voltage of your battery. Lots of components will just cease working if a certain minimum voltage is not supplied to essential parts. It is this which might give you the impression that you ignition coil might, instrument cluster, relais, motronic, petrol pump............ are broken.
Always check if your batteriy is fine and that the alternator is charging properly. Do not rely on a warning light to appear when the alternator is NOT charging
