The car will not run at rpms below 1200-1500. When starting, it will go to almost 1700 rpm, but when warm, car stalls, sometimes at 40kph or more. When it does decide to idle it surges really bad. I have to replace the spark plug wires because resistance on #4 was 27kohms. New Bosch plugs are on the way and I will replace about a mile of vacuum hose tomorrow (if I can find correct size). The AFM's swinging door operates without binding, although I'd like to know if I can measure resistance (at various angles) to determine if the potentiometer has a "dead" spot which may be contributing to my problem.

Castaway in Italy,

Jeff
