Jens, what is the circuitry on the throttlebody (archive)

My car needs wires, but yesterday I was tinkering and disconnected the circuit (with the microswitch) near the throttlebody. The idle smoothed out tremendously. Now, I guess that I don't understand what the function of that item is, but the car runs better with it disconnected. BTW, saw a picture of your car. It brought a tear to my eye seeing what my car could look like.
Oh, yeah, if you could help us out locating a place to buy a manual printed in English, it would save me a lot of stupid online questions.
