First of all there is no such thing as a stupid
question, if anyone says your questions is

As for the switch, as you noticed it klicks
or suppose to, one in that position it tells
the AF that it is in Idle mode, ones out of that
position obiastly run position.

I will E-mail you some mesaring I/E ohm
and volt at TPS.
