I've seen references to "not revving engine when in Park or Neutral." I just found this link that explains (at a level that even I can understand :) why you shouldn't do this. In summary, the clutch packs pressurize in the trans as soon as you shift into any gear. When going back to Park or Neutral they DON'T depressurize:

Including 735, 535, etc. If a trans has been rebuilt most likely the fix has been done to the clutch packs which allows depressurization. However it is a good rule to follow regardless.
