Perhaps I didn't quite understand, but what if I used a newer motor/gear assembly too?

Otherwise, no suggestions for realignment? If that's not my problem, I have no idea what is.

The difference is coiled cables or none coiled,
I would recommend to go with proper ones,
motor is the same yes, but a could one has a
different pick up wheel then the none coiled.
