i have a set of e30 m3 wheels on my 84 745i. i do not have the stock metric wheels, my car came with 750i wheels, which are 7 in width as well, i think their a 15mm or 18 offset.

i used 18mm spacers on the m3 wheel for an effective offset of 12mm. on a 7" width, this is acceptable. no rubbing. i am running 215/60/15

the m3 is a forged 1 piece (pretty rare). extremely light and strong.

good luck, contact me privately if you cannot find spacers.
