A note of caution to all about flying flags: when I was student, a friend drove from Southampton to London with a Union Jack flying from his sunroof. It was only at the end of the journey he noticed that one corner of the flag had worn an area of paint away on his roof! Caught hell from his mother - it was her car.


I'm just wondering who else has put flags on thier car? I had two of mine out of the sunroof, till tonight when I turned it to "diplomatic style" show of respect (duct taped one to each corner to the front of the car standing proud in the crevase where the hood meets the fender which meets the front(I'll post a pic asap)) So who else put a flag where?
