Adam-I've been there-done that.Get your own appraiser.Hemmings or Roundel should have a listing.It cost me $75.Someone that's a car guy..Threaten (and be prepared)to go to arbitration if need be.Apply plenty of pressure on YOURinsurance people and read your policy.DO NOT SETTLE for anything less than what YOU feel the car is worth.Don't forget-even if it's repaired, there is evidence of damage and now 'diminished value'.Would you pay full price for a car that was in an accident and repaired? I don't think so and neither would anyone else.Be prepared to be insulted and worse-it's how they stay in business.Remember-it's your car and you were not at fault.
