'81 733i Idle Control (archive)

I have an '81 733i with L-Jet/lambda injection. I am trying to identify what looks like a solenoid valve that branches off the aux. air bypass valve. It has two wire terminals and is inline to a 3-4mm vacuum hose. It looks like another throttle body bypass component. Any ideas?
