Hi,

While it is on the fuel consumption display, press the inset button with a pen, pencil, toothpick, whatever. It will go from L/CKM -> MPG -> M/G. One of the latter two is American gallons, the other English.

Sorry to be vague. My BMW & Owners Manual are seperated by about 1400 miles right now!

anyone know how to reset the on board computer from metric to english? 1985 735i. Thanks
