A few simple things to start with...

Check that none of your brake light bulbs are out. The cruise control circuit uses them. Also check the plunger switch in front of the clutch pedal arm up under the dash. Make sure it is being pressed in when the clutch is not being pressed. Check continuity. It should be a continuous circuit when the switch button is pressed. This switch opens when you press in the clutch which breaks the cruise control circuit.

Hi,

I'm getting ready for a 1400 mile motorway journey and my cruise control isn't working. Can anyone know please tell me where I can find some diagrams of the system so I can debug it?

Thank you in advance,

Rob
