I'm just wondering if this is the stock location for the BMW roundel on a 745i (I got the pic off eBay). If it is stock, it seems odd of BMW, usually its centered on the trunk.

That is *exactly* the same as my 85 745. That spoiler is OEM and has a BMW part number. My Roundel is in the same place. I have also seen CS coupes with similar Roundel placement with an OEM spoiler. Saturday night I saw Jeff Sadler's 85 745 with the same spoiler.

In the process of refinishing the spoiler I noticed how the factory plugged the normal Roundel position.

I will try to post a picture later.

Hi guys,
I've also had exactly the same spoiler/rondel config. on my 1982 745i when purchased. I didn't like it (was thought is not original) and I removed them away and put the rondel back in center...
