Fitting Trip Computer (archive)

I need to know the parts needed to retro-fit a trip computer into my 85' Euro 732i SE, I have a scrap 87' Euro 735i SE as a donor.

Does my car have the wiring etc. in place or most of it a least? Or is this going to be a nightmare job?
Can anybody help please?
