86' 745i fuse box burn-out (archive)

I'd like to ask anyone out there for help with this problem! My problems with power to the blowers has been traced to the fuse box. The holder for the blower is bunerd at the circuit board . I jumped it and the blower runs fine, but it smokes. The solder is melted under the circuit board but the fuse is not blown. Is there a way around this or am I looking at a new box? Thanks Rick
