Problem is most likely one of 2 things:
1 Airflow meter. The wiper on the resistor inside has debris on it. Suggest you wipe resistor with fine sandpaper, 2000 grit. Do this lightly, just a few swipes. Then flush area with carb cleaner and blow out thoroughly. Close cover.

2. Could be the throttle position sensor.

Next item up for replacement is the fuel regulator. Does anyone have the specs on the pressure reating for the 745i regulator? Is it 2.5 or 3.0 bar?

Does anyone have any suggestions that I should try next to eliminate the cutting out problems I am experiencing. (For those of you that don't know, my 745i cuts out -- like it is running out of fuel -- under high acceleration demand -- low or high RPM -- at any speed.)
