Rick,

Check fuze on right side of assembly - get at it from glove box. If this does not work then problem is in the control boards in the dash, most likely the board with the blower speed and temp wheels.

Unless the boards are burned, I can repair problem for you for $75. If interested, send me an email to make arrangements.

My heater blower & air conditioner on the wifes 86' 745i has stopped working. I tried the fuses , all OK, relays all OK. The only thing amis that I can find is the fuse holder for the blower is a little melted #16. and it has now power to it. But I used a jumper wire to it and still nothing. Any suggestions would be app. its getting cold in Buffalo and she will need the defrosters shortly! Another wiered thing is the # 5 relay seams to operat the self leveling rear, when I remove it and replace it the self leveling motor runs for a few secs.
