I thought I would share the results of today's project. I removed the 745's heat shields from the exhaust manifold, sandblasted them and then painted. The results are below.

I used the Dupli-Color High Heat with Ceramic paint. After painting I "cured", per instructions, in the oven for 2 hours at 400 degrees, don't tell the wife! Results are pretty good. According to the manufacturer if cured the paint will withstand 1200 degrees.

That's very nice, but what are those red plug wires doing there, and why aren't those hose clamps alighned properly on the air flow hoses?
