My air-conditioner evaporator drain hose was leaking water into the passenger footwell area, soaking the carpet and foam.
Remove the trim panel( It is a carpet covered vertical piece flush with tranny tunnel) on the right side and check the odd shaped drain tubes. Mine was disconnected, but they can become blocked with scum from the A/C.



hi guys i need a little help on refurbishing my 85 735i ive got some questions my passenger front door is out of alignment a little, would that cause water to leak in? the water leaking in has made the insulation under the carpet smelly and wet, can i just replace the insulation on the passenger side or do i have to do both sides? might have more questions as i look at the car further.... (ps i already own this car)
