Sounds like you could have a herniated brake line, since the pressure won't release through the line, but will through the bleed screw. steve

I have caliper on the left front of my 735i that locks up but if I open the bleed screw the pressure releases and I can turn the wheel. Does this still indicate the caliper needs rebuilding or is somthing else wrong ? I have bled this line to make sure there wasnt any air in the system.
Thanks for any help.
