This shouldn't happen. It may happen on slick surfaces, but not in the dry, unless you are flooring the accelerator in the middle of a curve.

Your balance sounds incorrect. Either your front end is too soft or your rear end is too stiff. Perhaps your front sway bar or bushings are worn or broken. How about the rear camber? There should be a little negative camber in the back. If you have positive camber, something is bent in the suspension. Does the car sit level or is the rear end signifcantly higher than the front?

I don't think raising the tire pressure in the back will work. In my experience, that will make the rear end break easier. If you want to try tire pressure adjustments, add 2-3 pounds to the front and leave the rear.

In terms of the struts, you should try stock springs with Bilstein HDs. But solve the rear end problem first.
