Thanks for the quick feedback! I think I'll find a cheap, dead one somewhere and re-build that first.

I re-built a Volvo engine with a friend once. It all went OK until putting on the cam-belt. There was no screwdriver to hand, so I used a wood screw to find TDC on No.1. Then I forgot about it. I remembered it again when we first started the engine! A lesson learned hard is one rarely forgotten! :o)

M30 Engine are a straight forward issue,
it is hard to say 1-10 I do not know you,
but I will give it a number 2 for me :)

So as for the Engine, the main things are
time and pationt....
