Hans, The size of the 5, or the 7 series bushing is to large in diameter. The amout of stock removal would leave the area around the bushing too thin. From the best of my memory (and I just looked at this about 2 weeks ago) you would have to remove about 4 mm and this would make the wall thickness of the controll arm much to thin for my taste. If you want a better bushing BMP has a urethane set for about $115.00. I myself would replace them with rubber as they will last a long time and the amount of shock through the steering is better with rubber. A pair from Bav Auto is about $25.00. If you remove your arms yourself I will press the bushings in for you. I have made special tools to use in my press just to do e23 bushings. You will also need the special tools for pulling the ball joint free. Let me know. Email me if you need more info.
Jon
