To all,
Since yesterday there is an email virus, it doesn't do much harm. What it does if the attachment is opened is:
It will make a coincidental choice of almost any of your files of your harddisks, adds it's payload and mail it to the people in your address book.
You don't have to worry to much since a properly configured XP outlook should catch the bastard.
If you receive anything, even from people you know.
Do not open a file unless you are expecting one of the same name.
A good warning is an email body text like:
"Hi! How are you?
I send you this file in order to have your advice
See you later. Thanks"

Just delete every email with this type of body message.
If you are to curious and open the attached file
you will get infested. You have been warned.
A general reminder. (Files with extensions of .pif; .bat; .exe; .doc; .xls; .pps; .vb? are potential carriers.
Files with extensions: .gif; .jpg; .bmp; .tif; .mp3; .mpg
cannot carry viruses. The is no risk.
If you can't help it and must have a look at a file. Save email attachment to floppy, DO NOT DOUBLEcLICK or open file. Open Notepad, go Filemenu open, select your file on floppy and read.

Best Regards
