Thank you .. You've always been very helpful !

However, Would you suggest to get the whole Panel (where the speedometer and everything else is together) and simply disconnect and connect the other used or new one ??

Or can I find an Odometer and install it to the same speedo BOX ??

Where is this Odometer ??

I hope I dont become anoying with all my questions..

Again, Thank you so much for your comments.

Ian

Hey guys,

Has this happened to someone here before ?

My 86 735's kilometer Counters (Both > the Unresetable and the resetable one) STOPPED quite some time ago... I checked every thing and it seems it is something internal with the part ... (Have no Idea what is this part name)

What is the name of this part please :D ?
What could be the Problem?
Can it be repaired ?
or should i buy a new or used one ?
More or less ... What is the price ?

Please, i need to have all these little details working..

I would really appreciate any help.

Ian,
The speedometers are electronic. You cannot buy replacement parts from BMW. You can either buy a new or used working speedometer. You could possibly take it to a speedo repair shop, but I'm certain that the cost would be prohibitave. Most people reset these while the car is rolling, and this is what causes them to break. Most odometers have a small teflon gear that registers the mileage, and this is what breaks.
