As you know, I have an 85 735i. I have a slight problem with the climate control unit, or at the very least a problem with my thumbwheel control for the fan speed. The blower will only run on high, and nothing else. What do you think?

I also have a friend that tells me that all of the radiator hoses should be very firm, and not sort of soft. Mine are very soft, and I am told that this will make the car run hot and maybe over-heat, do you agree?

Hey I appreciate your help, and hope you don't mind me asking, I do value your knowledge of these cars greatly.

Thanks,

Wade,
Take the cowling off of the car. Remove the wipers first. The blower motor is located underneath and there on top is the blower relay. This controls the speed of the fan. Soft hoses are an indication that they are ready to burst, but they won't make the temp any hotter.

Bigbob
