Don't put auto trans fluid in a 5 speed gears box.
It's not the same fluid.
In a auto gears box, you put castrol ATX, whereas
in a 5 speed you put 90W75, it's more fluid.



first let me thank everyone for their continued help on this board. My car is running and starting fine now and most of all consistantly. it seems the ground on the altenator was bad. a two dollar fix and i am back on the road--YEAH!!!!!!!!!
nOW MY NEXT QUESTION--has anyone heard of putting auto trans fluid in a five speed gear box??? And what do most of you recomend for the e23 5spd????
