OK, gotcha. The "E" designation in any model imported to Canada signified an 'economy' version which either meant it had a de-tuned engine or some fuel economy-type feature. (The difference between a 325E and a 325i was sporty performance and top end revs.) I imagine your transmission control feature would be the deciding factor on the designation of your model. Neat.
