I need a drivers door handle for a 1986 735i. Well, actually I only need the small round shield that covers the lock cylinder. I would imagine that the part from either side would fit. Cannot purchase the part seperately from BMW.


I have already tried the dealer route. Very expensive considering I only need the lock cylinder cover and not a handle or lock set. They could not verify if the lock cylinder cover actually came with the lock cylinder or the door handle. I was hoping that someone might have a parts car or a door on a wrecked 753i that I might be able to obtain reasonably.
