Driving through very heavy rain and puddles yesterday and today I lost my power steering and had to really lean on the wheel to turn. I'm guessing the powersteering belt is slipping or something. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thanks

the power steeering/brake booster pump belt. Check the condition of the belt. Check to see that the tension is correct. If the belt is old it may need to be replaced to prevent this from happening.

Turn the wheel to full lock either side, if it squeels, you need to tighten it....I had this, the puddle problem, till I tightend the belt then poof it was gone.
