I just purchased an '86 and it has one,... for what it's worth. Oh- a note about BMW speaker wires... I went in circles with my 320i and finally bit the bullet and ran all my own NEW wires- saved myself a LOT of headaches and took much less time then screwing around...(rears were affecting fronts etc... no volume- all the normal SNAFU mentioned in threads)
