Best example are the "Springer" scientific books.
Printed, in the States and in Berlin, in very small numbers.
They easily cost $150-$300 for a small book.
So I am affraid it's a NOGO.
Maybe Jenses book project gains more attraction now.
Just imagine what it would have to cost if he sat down and did nothing else but writing until he is finished and would only get the national average wage for his time.
He than has only finished ONE very expensive book.
Then it needs printing, marketing and advertising distribution ....
Since entrepreneurial risk is taken it needs rewarding with a good profit margin, that is on top of the wage.
An than he could possibly sell 200 if he is very, very lucky.
If you do your mathematics now you can see that Jens is not in it for the money, despite having to possibly charge a lot for it.
Whow, sometimes I surprise myself.
