Hi guys
Has anyone had any experience with fitting sidedrafts to an E23. I am Contemplating fitting triple 40mm Webers to my 79 733I which I am currently restoring. Due to past experiences I have found that the fuel injection systems are now becoming quite troublesome. I am retro fitting a later model 735 engine and I do have the motronic injection setup but I do like the idea of filling the engine bay up with Webers. I realise that Sidedrafts do have their inherent weaknesses as well, ie fuel thirst/cold starting etc but my 7 is'nt my daily drive so this won't be a major issue. Any advice on this would be much appreciated.
