Your oil rail is probably loose. The last e-23 that i saw in for a valve adjustment, we had to search to find the washers and banjo bolt. These cars are famous for these bolts loosening up, and the tell tale is the oil light flickering. That and the oil light staying on after starting it in the morning.

Left to its own devices, it will wear out your front cam lobe.

Pull the valve cover...
