There is an inline fuse on the left side of glove compartment. Last year the fuse holder in my car went bad and once the fuse holder was replaced at least I got back the default defroster mode. Let me know how you make out.

Just got my '84 733i back from an extended loan to my daughter. It is sad.
There is no ventilation blower activity on any setting, even defrost. The driver's door is the only one that will unlock. The other three doors will not unlock and you can't pull the lock buttons up. How can this be? The central locking module appears dead.
The antenna is broken off. The pass. side view mirror has no glass. The throttle cable has broken and has been jury-rigged back together. The exhaust has a hole in it. The clutch is making noise. There is a coolant leak.
I am depressed.
Any ideas about the blower or the door locks? Thanks.
