Hi, I hope you don't take this the wrong way - but have you checked the ignition leads are all in the right place on the distributor? I had similar backfiring problems on a Rover V8 - and after re-building the carburettors and a lot of other stuff, it turned out to be that!

Is there a preferred method of cleaning the injectors? Are they easy to remove/replace? Symptoms include poor acceleration/hesitation and occasional stumbling and backfiring through the intake. Any help would be appreciated.

jeff
